UPDATE ON THE STRAWBERRY CROP/SPRING FARM UPDATE

Spring Update from Holly Fork Farm  ( updtaed 4/4/2025)

We have some difficult news to share — due to a disease, our entire strawberry crop has been wiped out for the 2025 season. This is a great loss for our farm, and one that weighs heavily on us. Unfortunately, some things are beyond our control.  This is a new disease so we are learning how to battle it.  Though we made every effort the strawberries just didn’t make it. We kept waiting for them to possibly turn around and it just is not going to happen.
This is a new disease is actually a problem for many growers.  Little is known about it. We plan to come back strong next strawberry season as we are already doing research and planning NOW!

That said, Holly Fork Farm is still OPEN, and we’re moving forward with a season full of fun and community!

🌼 Field Trips are still happening! We have availability this spring and would love to welcome your school or group for a day on the farm. We are also booking for fall.

🎉 Join us for our Grand Opening & Community Yard Sale on Saturday, April 26th!
Enjoy a day of spring fun, great deals in the Country Store, and treasure hunting at the yard sale!

🚜 Don’t forget the Tractor Show on May 10th! We’re still seeking entries—bring out those vintage and modern tractors and be part of the show!

We truly hope you’ll still come see us this spring and fall—your support means more now than ever before.

Thank you,
Your Farmers,
Stephanie, Michael, and Hannah
