SPRING & SUMMER FIELD TRIP/STUDY INFORMATION

Spring Trip Booking Information:

At Holly Fork Farm, we begin scheduling Spring Trips each year starting April 20th and onwards. We extend a warm invitation to schools, homeschool groups, daycares, and organizations to come and explore the wonders of our farm during the spring season.

Spring Trip Options:

Option One:

• Tour of our fields and strawberry fields, including a glimpse of essential farm equipment.
• Discussion on plant life and life cycles, emphasizing the importance of sun, water, and oxygen.
• Hands-on seed planting (participants take home their plantings).
• Hayrides, two tire fun zone areas, corn box fun building, and a spacious picnic pavilion for enjoyment.

Package Cost: $13.50 per participant, $6.50 for a parent chaperone.

Option Two:

• Tour of our fields and strawberry fields with an investigative twist.
• Discussion on plant life and life cycles, with a focus on the importance of sun, water, and oxygen.
• Animal adaptations and life cycles discussion using our on-site pigs and chickens.
• Hayrides, two tire fun zone areas, corn box fun building, and a covered picnic area.

Package Cost: $13.00 per participant, $6.50 for a parent chaperone.

Optional Farm Fun Add-Ons:

• Jump Pad: $5.50 per jumper (discount available if the entire group participates).
• Small bag of corn for tossing to pigs and chickens: $1.00 per bag (discount available if the entire group participates).
• Ice cream treat: Generous scoop with sprinkles for $4.00 each (discount available if the entire group participates).

If You Picked Option 2:

• Hayride
• Strawberry Field Tour/Farm Equipment Tour
• Plant Education (Not Planting Seeds)
• Animal Education with On-Site Guide
• Tire Fun Area 
• Corn Box Fun Building

Tips for a Successful Trip:

• Comfortable clothing and shoes for walking.
• Encourage water bottles for hydration.
• Sunscreen and bug spray for outdoor comfort.

Payment Information:

• Preferred payment method for field trips is by business check.
• Credit card payments incur an additional fee of 6.00%.

Please note: Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued due to advanced preparations and arrangements.

Summer Field Trip Options:

In the summer season, we welcome school groups, summer camps, daycares, and more.

Holly Fork Farm schedules summer field trips starting June 25th, with arrivals as early as 9:00 a.m. The theme is "Agritourism: Tasting and Touring."

Package Cost: $16.00 per child/group member, $7.00 for chaperones. Teachers, staff, and bus drivers attend at no charge. Your group can feel free to lunch under our clean and spacious picnic pavilion with fans to cool you off! 

Rotations During Your Summer Visit: 

• Hayride
• Produce table with discussion about common and uncommon produce
• Seed/Plant Education
• Hands-On Seed Planting
• Tire Fun Zone Areas 
• Tasting Station-taste 2 to 3 varieties of seasonal produce grown at our farm and discuss its health benefits
• Corn Box Fun Building ( when available)

Optional Summer Farm Fun Add-Ons:
