SPRING & SUMMER FIELD TRIP/STUDY INFORMATION

Spring Trip Booking Information

At Holly Fork Farm, we begin scheduling Spring Trips each year starting April 20th and onward. We extend a warm invitation to schools, homeschool groups, daycares, and organizations to come explore the wonders of our farm during the spring season.

Option One:

• Tour of our fields and strawberry fields, including a glimpse of essential farm equipment
• Discussion on plant life and life cycles, emphasizing the importance of sun, water, and oxygen
• Hands-on seed planting (participants take home their plantings)
• Wagon rides, three tire fun zone areas, corn box fun building, and a spacious picnic pavilion for enjoyment

Package Cost: $13.50 per participant, $7.50 for a parent chaperone

Option Two:

• Tour of our fields and strawberry fields with an investigative twist
• Discussion on plant life and life cycles, focusing on the importance of sun, water, and oxygen
• Wagon rides, three tire fun zone areas, corn box fun building, and a covered picnic area

Package Cost: $13.00 per participant, $7.50 for a parent chaperone

Option Three (Animal Focus):

• Tour of our fields and strawberry fields
• Animal adaptations and life cycles discussion using our on-site pigs and chickens - rabbits and ducks * Guided animal education experience
• Wagon rides, three tire fun zone areas, corn box fun building, and picnic area access
• Includes all standard rotations for a full farm experience

Package Cost: $13.75 per participant, $7.50 for a parent chaperone

Option Four (Farm Innovation – Recommended for 4th Grade & Up):

• Focus on farm innovation with hands-on interaction with farm equipment and how it has evolved over the years
• Educational discussion tailored for older students (great for 4th grade and up)
• Brief tour of our strawberry fields
• Wagon rides and access to the grounds, picnic pavilion, and jump pad

Package Cost: $13.75 per participant, $7.50 per chaperone

• Jump Pad: $4.00 per jumper (discount available if the entire group participates)
• Small bag of corn for tossing to pigs and chickens: $1.00 per bag (group discount available)
• Ice cream treat: Generous scoop with sprinkles for $3.75 each (group discount available)

• Preferred payment method: business check or cash
• Credit card payments incur an additional 6.00% fee
• Please note: Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued due to advanced preparations and scheduling
